Save the Date: Moss Envy Grand Opening

Here's the disclaimer: this post is probably a few days early, but maybe for the first time ever I'm planning ahead. Early tomorrow I'm leaving Minneapolis for a few days to spend some time in nature with extended family. There will be kids galore, a lake, a cabin, and no internet. So I'm preemptively announcing this big news: items from Recycling is Rad's vintage textile line are now available at Minneapolis' newest conservation-minded retailer, Moss Envy.

Moss Envy's grand opening is happening this coming Saturday, June 19, at their St. Louis Park location (in the Whole Foods shopping complex). There you'll find more R is R purses like this one, plus eco-friendly clothing, gifts, home goods, baby gear, bath and body, and furniture. Check out their site to learn more about the store and the super rad couple that run the place, Tina and Ryan North (previously of Re-Gifts and Twin Cities Green fame): www.mossenvy.com.

I'll still be in the aforementioned forest, so I won't be able to get out and show my support, but you should go. You know, help keep it real in the Twin Cities. Click HERE for directions and more info.

  1. I think I might actually die if you do not have any of that fabric left. Seriously. And it's not like I can just pop on over to Moss Envy to buy the bag. HELP ME! I'm not kidding -- do you have any of that fabric left? Even if it is made into, like, a coin purse, I really really need it to be in my life!

  2. It really is a cute bag. I have "bag" envy instead of moss envy.
